Description

Premium Ash decks are made from thermally modified lumber with no chemicals added. Due to thermo-modification, wood becomes naturally durable for at least 25 years. In the process, wood changes its molecular structure and becomes similar to 350-year lumber.

Thermally treated natural Ash decking is highly superior to any other decking material in the market. It is a 100% Green product with all the advantages of natural wood.

In addition to natural durability, thermo-modification makes wood repeal moisture on a molecular level, dramatically reducing the boards’ shrinking and swelling. The thermo-treatment process also prevents wood from cupping and surface checking, which increases the product’s maintenance interval.

Our decks come factory-oiled with UV protection on all 4-sides. The factory oiling saves a lot of costs as no oiling is needed after installation.

The thermo-treatment process enhances the color of the wood, creating an even brown tint consistent beyond the surface. Chemicals are never used during thermo-treatment, so the material remains environmentally safe. You and your children can walk barefoot across a thermo-treated Ash deck with certainty and peace of mind that the surface is free from harmful chemicals.

Fantastic room makeover

I’ve never done a project like this before, but after reviewing the installation guide and videos, I was confident enough to tackle 2 walls in my dining area. Once I got the 1st few rows done the install was quick. I found ways to stagger the joints, minimize cuts and randomize colors. What all started this project was a need to display my expanding bourbon collection. I found a craftsman to make shelves that would fit the space and keep a color scheme that would work with the wood. With some heavy anchors installed the shelves went up and the bottles on display. Couldn’t be happier with how this all turned out.

I spent a few months researching what barn wood company I would go with before I decided to go with Lumberpoint. From the moment I made my order to receiving it, and then the installation (I had a professional do it) it was all AMAZING! Lumberpoint is everything and more that you are looking for to really be the focal point of your house. The product is far superior than anything that you could ever buy from a big box retailer. Another key feature of Lumberpoint is the depth of their boards. They’re not super thick like many other reclaimed woods which is super beneficial, especially in our case, because their product does not close your space at all.
