The Sikkens ProLuxe Wood Finish is a non-film-forming, high-quality, transparent oil-based finish. Its easy to use, one-coat formula provides a rich, natural color and excellent UV protection. With its outstanding penetration, it provides long-lasting protection.

Being water-repellent, the Sikkens ProLuxe Wood Finish can be applied to a variety of wood surfaces. They include log walls, garage doors, entrance doors, outdoor furniture, fences, windows, decks, and logs.

Fantastic room makeover

I’ve never done a project like this before, but after reviewing the installation guide and videos, I was confident enough to tackle 2 walls in my dining area. Once I got the 1st few rows done the install was quick. I found ways to stagger the joints, minimize cuts and randomize colors. What all started this project was a need to display my expanding bourbon collection. I found a craftsman to make shelves that would fit the space and keep a color scheme that would work with the wood. With some heavy anchors installed the shelves went up and the bottles on display. Couldn’t be happier with how this all turned out.

What A Difference!

I spent a few months researching what barn wood company I would go with before I decided to go with Lumberpoint. From the moment I made my order to receiving it, and then the installation (I had a professional do it) it was all AMAZING! The quality of each piece, the variety of colors (no groups of the same) the accent wall is stunning! It took a wall that was 35' long with windows on each end, and we did the wood in the middle of the room and trimmed it with their trim pieces, man, all of our friends are going crazy over it. Lumberpoint is everything and more that you are looking for to really be the focal point of your house. The product is far superior than anything that you could ever buy from a big box retailer. Another key feature of Lumberpoint is the depth of their boards. They’re not super thick like many other reclaimed woods which is super beneficial, especially in our case, because their product does not close your space at all. What a fantastic edition to our family room. Just completes the look in this old (1949) room. Rustic, yes it is … living in Alaska by the ocean.
