Premium Thermally Modified ASH SIDING is a natural wood material with an attractive look and natural durability. Due to the thermo-modification process, wood becomes durable for at least 25 years. In the process, wood changes its molecular structure and becomes similar to 350-year lumber. It is a 100% Green product with all the advantages of natural wood.
Versus pressure-treated softwoods: Thermo Ash Siding is a 100% “Green” product that won’t crack, shrink, or swell like pressure-treated lumber. Over its lifespan, it costs 3-4 times less.
Versus exotic woods: Thermo Ash Siding is significantly lighter, more dimensionally stable, and easier to work with.
Versus composite, plastic, and fiber cement: Thermo Ash Siding doesn’t overheat under sunlight, and it is real wood.
Versus other thermo-ash sidings on the market: Our Ash Siding comes factory-oiled on all four sides, in fixed lengths of 8′ and 6′, and offers consistent color.

Our free FOUR side oiling saves you $2-4/SF, which contractors usually charge for ONE-side surface oiling on site; oiling of the back side is extremely important to increase the lifetime and performance of your siding.
Cut it, sand it, nail it, drill it, paint or stain it as you would practically any standard-grade lumber, using the same standard tools.
Take into consideration, that thermo-treated wood is drier (4% EMC), lighter in weight, and a little more brittle than non-treated wood.
For outdoors Install wood siding over furring strips (use 1 or 2-foot span – vertical or horizontal) for ventilation. Use outdoor-rated nails or screws. Use finishing nails on tongue and through the face when needed. Thermo-treated wood furring strips are available.
